The Church of San Telmo - This was one of the first churches in Buenos Aires. You can see a small mast in front of it since Buenos Aires was mainly just a port back in the day.
During the late 70s-early 80s, thousands and thousands of people were abducted by the military regime in a so-called 'Dirty War'. The pictures of the women marching are honoring the ones that they lost. The group is called 'Las Madres de la Plaza de Mayo' and they have been marching every Thursday afternoon for nearly 25yrs. At first, it was a protest to petition the government for the return of their loved ones, but now that documents have been released, etc and it is clear that no one is coming back, they march to remember the ones they lost and comfort eachother.

Buenos Aires - Boca is a wildly popular soccer team in the area. There's no doubt who the owners of this colorful building are rooting for.
